MarcumRachlin presents SFBJ 2008 Women Who Mean Business Awards
At MarcumRachlin, we've watched the role of women in business grow for more than 50 years. So, it came as no surprise to us when the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants reported in 2005 that women make up 57 percent of the accounting graduates, and 54 percent of new hires in public accounting firms. Imagine that just 100 years ago, the profession balked at the very idea of female CPAs.
Women have been an integral part of MarcumRachlin since its founding in 1955. Today, they represent one-quarter of our senior management team and are a driving force behind our success. We€re proud to support women in business.
Please join the South Florida Business Journal and MarcumRachlin as we recognize women in South Florida who have come from different walks of life and have all made a unique contribution to our community and the business world.
In addition to honoring each of these outstanding women, there will also be a raffle to benefit Women In Distress during our event.
