Join us for an evening reception, followed by a presentation and book signing with David Roberts, an author, climber, adventurer and mountaineer. Roberts will share some stories with us, and tell us about his newest book, FINDING EVERETT RUESS: The Life and Unsolved Disappearance of a Legendary Wilderness Explorer.

This month's author: David Roberts

David Roberts is the author of over twenty books on mountaineering, and the history of the American Southwest, adventure and history, including: THE LAST OF HIS KIND: The Life and Adventures of Brad Washburn, America's Boldest Mountaineer, and DEVIL'S GATE: Brigham Young and the Great Mormon Handcart Tragedy, as well as the memoir ON THE RIDGE BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH. His most recent book written with Ed Viesturs, THE WILL TO CLIMB: Commitment and Obsession and the Quest to Climb Annapurna – the World's Deadliest Peak, has just been published by Broadway Books. They've also written NO SHORTCUTS TO THE TOP and K2 together. His essays and articles have appeared in National Geographic, National Geographic Adventure, and Smithsonian.
